Xquery Match wildcard does not work

This is also happening for me in 4.5.1, but not earlier versions of soapui.

Same issue in 4.5.1. Worked fine for me in 4.0.1. Has someone opened a bug? This seems like a pretty big issue yet this thread is many months old.

If you can use xPath Match wildcards are working in 4.5.1.

I also got stuck in Xquery Match wildcard does not work. Please help me to get out of this issue.
I need to compare list of object in collection, order of collection is not fixed so i have to use XQuery. Also i need to user wilecard to skip testing of changing ids.

Unfortunately, this is still broken in 4.5.2. I don't think there is any workaround. If there is (other than using XPath) I'd love to hear it.

Yes. I'm also facing the same problem when using the Maven SOAPUI pro plugin to execute my soap project.xml

I'm getting the below exception:

[different] Expected text value '*' but was '2013-09-04T00:00:00.000000-00:00' - comparing * at /IFX[1]/SignonRs

Wondered how these kind of issues can be there in the higher versions of SOAP.

Just thinking whether SOAP UI team knows about this or not?
