Using Harvest to manage test artifacts

How do I export/import Projects, TestSuites, TestCases, etc. into a directory for check-in to/check-out of Harvest?  We use Harvest for source code control and want to include soapUI testing artifacts so we can maintain re-usable functional tests for SOA developers.

Thank you.

  • Hi:

Thanks for the info.  I am using standard soapUI. Do I have to do an import/export for every TestCase as well?  Are all of these exports stored as packages or as single XML files?

    Thanks

    Hello,

In free version you have option to export/import test case and test suite. They all are stored in single xml file, what I mean that each exported test case goes in single xml file, same thing goes for test suite.
Export is done on item level, for test case open a popup menu on test case and look for export, for test suite on the test suite open a popup and look for export. Testsuites are imported on project level, test cases on test suite level.
After importing test case/test suite it will be included in test suite/project.
So, I suggest to export/import test suite if you have lot of test cases.

    Hope this helps.

    Robert.
