SoapUI Workspace opens with all Projects CLOSED/ REMOTE and not accessible

    So by the location that the project is checkout and a user clonging the code to a different location, somehow this throws off SoapUI into not finding the files correctly and thus creating the above wierd xml settings.

     

    Now with the user cloing the project out to the correct folder location expected by thye workspace file used by SoapUI, all works as it should.

     

    This was just a weird scenario a user created.

Got chance to look into the logs to get some information?

May be use new workspace / settings file (have backup of existing files, you can the paths in the log files) and move them so that tool creates new files. See if this helps.

I have what appears to be the same issue. I'm running ver.5.5.0 and Projects (which had beeen working for months) now appear greyed out.  When I click on one to open it a white "X" appears on the gray folder and nothing else happens. Right clicking t select 'Reload Project' provides an incorrect path (no .wsdl files saved there) so expectedly does nothing. If I try setting the path to the correct .wsdl THe default file type appears as a .xml file?? (not .wsdl). Setting that to "All Files" point to the correct .wsdl and clicking "open" does absolutely nothing. Is there some fix for this issue??

 

As an addendum:

I'm seeing this in the error logs:

 

Caused by: org.apache.xmlbeans.XmlException: Element definitions@http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/ is not a valid soapui-project@http://eviware.com/soapui/config document or a valid substitution.
