SoapUI 5.6 not an entity enclosing method error

SoapUI 5.6.0 Build Date: 2020-07-09T20:35:07Z
Calling a Layer7 service via SoapUI 5.6 the request starts as a post and in the Layer7 service there is an assertion that retrieves the the backend endpoint using a GET method which triggers the below error. Using the previous SoapUI 5.5 version the below error is NOT experienced. Is there a setting in 5.6 that needs modification in order to avoid the below error? Thank you for your time.
