Property file doesn't load in version 5.0.0

Hi,
I am trying to load my property file in a Property step in the test case but it doesn't load when I open the project and even not when I run the test.
For the file Address I have tried both way :

${projectDir}/conf/date.properties
and
${#Project#projectDir}/conf/date.properties

Is there any solution?
here is my version and build date:
SoapUI 5.0.0
Build Date: 20140409-1012

    Could not quite get what you mean by address. Screen please? Have you checked the soapui.log, soapui-error.log files?

    About the address misunderstanding, I mean configuration file path. Actually As I said, I tried different ways to make sure the property file path gets resolved properly by SOAPUI for loading the file contents.
    I uninstalled my trial pro version on my system and I don't see the problem any more for now.
    I would update the post if I find the problem again.
