Error loading [http://www.webservicex.com/currencyconvertor.asmx?WSDL]: java.lang.Exception: Failed

following the instruction to create a sample project, using this WSDL provided from site: https://www.soapui.org/getting-started/your-first-soapui-project.html

 

it failed with the error message:

  Error loading [http://www.webservicex.com/currencyconvertor.asmx?WSDL]: java.lang.Exception: Failed to load url; http://www.webservicex.com/currencyconvertor.asmx?WSDL, 0

    Unfortunately, that is not an issue with SoapUI software. It is a service hosted on a public domain and that is not working. You should be able get other working public web service / wsdl if you really want to try it out, just search on the net.
