Data Base Connectivity Testing in SOA

Hi,

This is the first time that we are having SOA infrastructure built in our company.

The environment is ready.

My testing starts from Infrasrtruture connectivity testing.

May I know how I could test datbase connectivity from ESB using SOAP UI 2.5?

Thanks,
Usha

    Hi Usha,

I assume your ESB is, among other things, using database as a data source. However, I didn't quite understand you what you mean by "testing database connectivity".

If you're looking for a way to load data from and save data to a database, than soapUI can help you with DataSource and DataSink functionalities that allow soapUI users to communicate with a database via JDBC.

Pro version of soapUI adds wizards that vastly simplify the process of reading and writing data from a database or any other supported data source/sink.

    Does this answer your question?

    Cheers!
