Hi,
I'm looking for a way to clear the "Log Output" pane of a groovy script test step before I run it, so it just contains the log for the current run. I found this in the forums:
com.eviware.soapui.SoapUI.logMonitor.getLogArea("script log").clear();
However, this does not seem to work. It does not throw an error but does not clear the pane.
Any ideas?

The script log is not the same as the groovy script "log output".
The Ready API documentation has more detail here and the log structure is basically the same as SoapUI 5.3.

In either log you can use the right click context menu to clear the log and/or limit the number of rows.

Some clues there for me, thanks very much. I really do want to clear the output programmatically. How is the Groovy Script "log output" usually referenced? Can't find anything specifically on this in the links you kindly provided.

I can't find any documentation referring to "log output" only "script log". Could you use set max rows to limit the number of rows to the current run?
