Change Mock Service Port

We are building test harness. The harness needs to be able to configure the mock server port number. I would like to do this under program control (i.e. ${#Project#mockPort} ) or some other method. 

Editing the mock service properties to have a custom variable doesn't appear to be supported/

Ideas?
