Hi,
I am looking on the below URL for executing soapUI from QC.
http://ryanoglesby.net/2013/08/23/executing-soapui-from-quality-center-part-1/
I need we have a step mentioned below
- "Create a listener in Soap UI. The listener should listen for the test runner and saves the run result in an xml file. Go through the SOAPUI.jar file, you can find here the methods to be used in listener."
Please let me know how we can create the listener. Can we achieve this open source version? can anyone help us on this.
Also i would like to know if we can run soapUI xml's from cmd?
Thanks
You can try executing SoapUI test from the command line: http://www.soapui.org/test-automation/running-from-command-line/functional-tests.html
As for the step mentioned in the article, I think it makes sense to ask about this there (at the bottom of the article, there is a question block).

Hi,
I want to run soapUi tests from QC. Can we do that in open version. If yes, please let me know the process of it.
I referred to the links that you provided above, It is more of using a groovy script that invokes QC when we provide the URl. But i want to run the soapUI xml from qc and store them in QC. Can anyone help me on this?
Thanks

There is a commercial plugin for doing exactly that. It's not for free, but it's good.

Thankyou.
Is there any freeware solution to do this?

Here is little more information : You should be able to call a batch file from QC, http://stackoverflow.com/questions/26760780/run-batch-script-from-quality-center. So, call testrunner.bat of %SOAPUI_HOME%\bin and see the command line options from above reply.
Hope this helps.- madhavi69 years agoOccasional Contributor
Using this, can we save the response xml to an output file in open source version?
Thanks,
Madhavi
