"Peer not authenticated" only when using HTTP Proxy

Yes, I can ping the server.

The problem seems related to the SSL certificates verification phase:

Any update/resolution to this problem. I'm also seeing it in my environment, with the following configuration:

SoapUI version: 4.6.0
Authorisation Type (set within the soap request configuration): Preemptive, with username and password set

Preferences:
Proxy host and port set
HTTP settings: tried with "Authenticate Preemptively" set and unset
SSL Settings - tried with "Client Authentication - requires client authentication" set and unset

I don't have easy update of my desktop, so not so simple to roll back to an older version of SoapUI to get around this issue.

Couldn't find any older SoapUI version back till 4.0.1 where proxy and HTTPS works together.

Technically, this is not a bug. It seems to be caused by changes in the Java runtime that SoapUI uses. SoapUI 4.0 used a rather early version of Java 1.6. In a late update of the JRE, Sun plugged some security vulnerabilities, which meant that certain SSL interactions began to be seen as invalid.

The odd thing is it works for most people, and we haven't been able to identify what factors in the environment causes it to fail for others. However, the fact that SoapUI throws an error could be a sign that something is wrong with your proxy or other infrastructure.

We will continue to investigate it, and I will add your comment to the issue in our tracking system.

I have the same problem with 4.5.2; very frustrating.

What is strange is that it only occurs with some HTTPS web services; in this instance, an SAP PI service.

I look VERY much forward to a solution.
