Ready API License Management / Tracking floating and fixed licenses

Question

Hi,&nbsp;In my organization we are using both fixed and floating user licenses for Ready API and at some point of time lost track of who all using these licenses.&nbsp;Is there some sort of tool which can figure out below. &nbsp;If yes, please point me in the direction of some documentation for same.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 1. which users are using floating license?&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 2. which users are using fixed license?&nbsp;Your quick help on this matter is much appreciated.&nbsp;Thanks &amp; Regards,Gilu Gopi&nbsp;

I am sorry if I was unclear: by Account Manager, I was referring to the person at SmartBear who manages your account. The database I referred to is available to internal employees of SmartBear only and is not accessible outside of the company.

Your best option is to contact your account manager to obtain a list of users by license type for you.

Hi all,
&nbsp;
Following up on this topic, as we now have a tool that enables one person in your organisation to have access to a portal that gives an overview of all your licenses held. The tool will show who has activated/inactivated, when, and when your licences are due for renewal and all info can easily be exported to Excel. It will also list&nbsp; your floating licenses assets. Activations for floating licenses are not listed, as they happen at server level.

The question really is how can account manager obtain a list of users by license type? Is there a particualar tool he can use?

Your account manager has access to an internal database that can be used to provide such information.

Again at the moment account manager in my company don't know this and as somebody who has been using Ready API for some time, I was asked to figure out this information.&nbsp;Can you be a bit more detailed please.&nbsp;What database they need to access? How to connect to it ? What query can return this information ? etc.&nbsp;Thanks &amp; Regards,Gilu Gopi
