Individual Endpoint Latency Settings

Is it possible to set latency times for individual endpoints in the same service virtualization project? For example, can I set a latency of 100ms for Endpoint1 and 200ms for Endpoint2 if both are contained in the same virt service? I'm using ServiceV Pro and Ready API version 2.4.0.

  • Hi,

Just to understand this correctly - a virtual service for e.g: customerManagement can have multiple operations (VirtActions) like, requestDetails, verifyDetails etc... for this - the endpoint will be the same and therefore if you set latency for requestDetailsto 100ms, it will also effect verifyDetails VirtAction as it's the same service.

I don't think you can have two end points for one virtService. Though you can set up different latency times for different virtService. i.e customerManagement can have 100ms, customerAuth can have 200ms.

I hope it makesense and helps.

I understand. The behavior settings are global within each VirtService. I can't set the behavior of an individual VirtAction.

      Thank you!
