using property expansion in username/password in Service Endpoints does not work

Hi,
I am trying to use property expansion for endpoint, username, and password and I am noticing that with using property expansion for 'endpoint', things are OK.

However, when property expansion is used with username and password, the security credentials are not inserted in the http header (verified using http log).

I think I am not doing anything wrong. I am email you the project file.

Thanks

Ali

I also notice that if you modify the existing endpoint in service endpoints, it will delete the username/password and you have to re-enter them.

    Hi Ali,

thanks, I've fixed this last issue but can't reproduce the previous one where the property-expansions in the username/password field are not expanded.. I'll try some more..

    regards!

    Hi again,

I can confirm this now; it occurs when the endpoint itself uses property-expansion. Possible workaround is to add another endpoint with the "real" value and corresponding defaults (one can still use the endpoint with property-expansion).

    Thanks for pointing this out!
