I am using a *.pac file for the proxy settings and SoapUI fails to connect to the internet. Actually both have issues...Startup page not being displayed when soapUI starts?And,When I add WSDL file to the project like the "amazon" one... it is showing SoapUI Exception: error in importing WSDL..

Hi!

what is a .pac file? I don't think soapUI can use it, you will need to enter proxy settings manually in the global proxy preferences tab.

I downloaded version 2.5.1 and it works. Apparently, the new SoapUI3.0 version just ignores the proxy setting.

Hi,

hmm.. We can't confirm this in our setup and would like to figure out why it isn't working for you; if you do the request with 3.0.1 can you check the HTTP log to see if the proxy reques is being made or not?

i have the same problem with 3.0.1 : cannot load a wsdl nor the start page and i'm sure my proxy settings are correct
the http log is empty

Hi,

soapUI does not support .pac files at the moment, you'll need to manually enter the proxy configuration in the global proxy preferences tab.
