rename Interfaces

Hi,

as we are working with different versions of the same service in some cases, we would like do manage all testcases for all these versions in one soapUI project.

But this also means to have multiple interfaces with the same name in one project.
As some operations are also equal between these interfaces, this makes it difficult to distinguish between them and to choose the right one when creating a testcase/teststep.

So it would be great beeing able to rename the interfaces.

Best regards
Nico

    Hi!

I think you can! Select an interface in the tree-view and go to the Properties tab in the lower left corner. In there, simply change the value of the Name property.

Let me know if this is not what you we're asking for.

    Hi Henrik,

yes, that's what I asked for.
As I expected this works by context menu entry "rename" or "F2", this solution didn't came into my mind.

    Thank you.

By the way, why isn't there a context menu entry "rename" for interfaces?

    Best regards

    Hi Nico,

There probably isn't one because you can change the name in the properties, although I understand that it can be a bit confusing
