Hi Ali,
you should be able to launch firefox with something like the following:
def builder = new ProcessBuilder( "cmd", "/c", "firefox", "http://www.eviware.com")
builder.directory( new File("c:\\Program Files\\Mozilla Firefox") )
builder.start()
