Thank you for your post. If I correctly understand your scenario, it is expected that the single request execution takes less time than an execution of 1000 requests. You can check the time taken in the transaction log or in the Request log (see the attached file). The time of requests from the loop should be similar to the time of a single request.
I recommend that you upgrade to ReadyAPI 2.1.0, which has many improvements. You can download it from here: https://support.smartbear.com/downloads/readyapi/
