    Hey Ready! API Community!

Hope you all had a chance testing your knowledge after watching this months Ready! API 101 class.  Here are the answers - please share how you did we would love to hear from you!!

    1. How does SoapUI NG Automatically validate API Responses?

The answer is: SoapUI NG Validates Responses by using Assertions. Assertions are rules built into Ready API to automatically verify if your API response is that you expect.

    1. What is the easiest method to pass a value from an API response to the Next API request?

The answer is: Point and Click testing. By right clicking on an API input you can use point and click testing to pull a value from a previous API response.

    1. Can you integrate R!API with automation tools or CI tools?

The answer is: Yes! You can automate regardless of what tool you use. The TestRunner utility allows you to execute the test you built from the command line, not only that, ready API will generate the command line arguments for you so that you can inject it into any CI or Automated tool you’d like.

Answer provided for #2 is new a feature? Any way, that is wonderful improvement for the QA engineers. I do see lot of questions in our community or in stackoverflow around this problem.

        Hello,

This is actually not a new feature, it has been available for a very long time but only in the commercial versions of SoapUI. If you would like more information about it please take a look at the link below. If you have any questions for me please let me know.
