Sequential transactions

I am currently conducting a Load test for an SOA web service, but I need a way to control how the Load test invokes the service, as I want it to invoke the service sequentially, ie. thread 1 invokes the service, upon receiving the response from the 1st request, the second request is sent and so on.. Is this available in SOAPUI?

Currently I am Using SOAPUI 3.6.1

    Not sure about the particular version. But in latest version i.e.m soapui-4.5.1 free version, it is possible to define a test case with different types of test steps and add a load test for the same test case and load test can be run. You may check it out, evern 3.6.1 might also have.
