ReadyAPI language support

Hey I'm using windows 7 at work,

there's an issue with displaying Hebrew text on the readyAPI tool interface, typing in Hebrew displays the characters in a rectangle form.

I intent to write the test descriptions in Hebrew so they would be helpful and quick to convey info on the different tests, but the lack of Unicode support kinda makes it impossible...

Is there a known way to fix this issue?

As far as my knowledge says, it only accepts English if you write anything in description.

sonya_m  can gave you more info on this whether it is possible or not. ๐Ÿ™‚

hcdbh14 , I checked documentation, and looks like Himanshu is correct - Unicode usage is quite limited in ReadyAPI:

      >>

Currently, ReadyAPI has a number of limitations related to Unicode characters:

      • ReadyAPI does not show Unicode characters in the following panels:

        • Test item properties

        • ReadyAPI logs

        • Assertions

        • Grid data source

      • ReadyAPI does not support emoji symbols.

When ReadyAPI cannot show Unicode characters correctly, it displays "rectangle" symbols:

The issue affects only displaying characters. ReadyAPI does not modify any strings.
