This is a known bug in 2.5.x on Windows Server 2008. We really want to fix it!

    Thanks

oh okay, thanks for the update.

Is there a way by which I can know when a new build arrives (with the current bug fixed)?

    Thanks

    Hello,

can you please let me know what other version can we use - where we don't face this problem?

    Thanks

    Hi!

If you're referring to Windows: Any version that is not Windows Server 2008 should work.
If you're referring to LoadUI: Please use LoadUI 2.1.2.

    Regards

  • Hi!

We have found a workaround for this issue!

To make LoadUI 2.5.X work on Windows Server 2008 (Windows NT 6.X) you have to install the "Desktop Experience" (aka Aero) Windows feature.

How to install the Desktop Experience is discribed in this article: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc742809.aspx
Once it is installed you should be able to launch LoadUI 2.5.X.

Please get back to us if you find that this workaround does not work.
