Email plugin installation problem

Hey,

I downloaded the email plugin "soapui-emailteststep-plugin-1.0-plugin.jar",
put it under %soapui\Bin\Ext folder
open soapui
the soapui log indicates that the plugin loaded.

but when I open test case - I don't get the email icon.
also, under teststeps there isn't an option for email step.

please advise,

Did you download the icon, and create the two configuration files?

Saving the pluging in SoapUI-Pro-Installation\bin folder is good.

Hey Jeshtha,

I looked at the post, but still didn't understand where to put each file.
inside the plugin jar file, I have the following files,
please advise exactly where should I put each one (version 4.5.2):

under main folder:
email.png
under meta-inf folder:
actions.xml
factories.xml
manifest.mf
under subfolder maven/com.smartbear/soapui-emailteststep-plugin:
pom.properties
pom.xml

Create a factories folder in and save email-teststep-factories.xml in SoapUI-Pro-Installation\bin\factories

Save email.png in bin folder

Save the jar soapui-emailteststep-plugin-1.0-plugin.jar in bin\ext

Save the email-teststep-actions.xml in SoapUI-Pro-Installation\bin\actions

Attached is the folder with all the required files file.

Close and open SoapUI Pro

You can do further customization on the email Test step using groovy script, but its not included in the plugin.

You can download the plugin here:

However, please pay attention to the fact that this plugin is deprecated:

https://www.soapui.org/extension-plugins/old-style-extensions/deprecated-extension-plugins.html

So, we cannot guarantee that it will work fine with the latest product versions.
