Assertion Test Step

Hi,

I have added an Assertion Test Step in my Project.

Once i want to Group a few assertions, Ready API freezes.

Please advise if this a bug?

I am running on Version 3.10.0

    Hey@Noor,

    It could be an issue, could you please provide some further information exactly what you were doing/trying to do when ReadyAPI freezes so people can try and replicate the issue?

    You mention adding an Assertion test step.

    Does ReadyAPI freeze when adding in the test step, so the test step isnt successfully created or does ReadyAPI freeze once the test step has been created successfully?

    Does ReadyAPI freeze every single time you repeat thr action that causes ReadyAPI to freeze?

    Have you tried the same actions but in a different ReadyAPI project?

    Etc., etc.

    The more info we have, the more likely people will be able to help you.

      Hi Richie,

      I can insert the Test Step to my Test Suite, but freezes when trying to group the assertions.

      Please see below.


      Yes, this occurs every time I try to group the assertions.

      Yes, I have tried in different projects and does the same.

      Please let me know should you require more info.

        Hey Noor 

         

        Im running v3.10.0 and I just managed to group some assertions successfully without any problems

         

        e.g.

         

         

        If we're both running the same version - either it's something else in the config or perhaps you're hitting your RAM usage? (grasping at straws here).  How many assertions were you trying to group?

         

        Is there anything else in your logging that might assist diagnosing your issue?
