Does QA Complete to JIRA Integration allow syntonisation of test cases and tets runs as well ?

We are using QA Complete in our organization and we are planning to integrate our JIRA with QA Complete.

 

From the material we got to know that we can connect QAComplete to JIRA and synchronize JIRA issues with Defects and Requirements in QAComplete.

 

But wanted to check if we can show the Test cases and test runs/executions from QA Complete on JIRA as well ?

Other test management tools like qTest, ALM support the syncing of Test cases and test runs/executions with JIRA and we can easily see the Test cases and test runs/executions for that specific JIRA story on the JIRA application.

I had raised this query to QA Complete support and below response i have received.

 

Hi Pavan,

The current version of QAComplete doesn't have an option of synchronizing test cases and testsets to Jira.

However, I am discussing with the developers about this and will get back to you with an update.

So i after reading your response i am confused actually, so does it really possible to show the test executions/runs from QA Complete on JIRA (similar to ALM) because the team is saying it is not possible right now

Actually i have received reply from the SmartBear Customer Care <customercare@smartbear.com> as below

Thank you for coming up with a enhancement request.

The proposal of synchronizing test cases and testsets to jira has been evaluated by the developers, and it is being considered as a feature enhancement.

However, all feature requests will be reviewed by our Product team to consider it for any future releases. 

 

So looks like they are not supporting the integration with JIRA for test cases and test runs now, and it will be added as feature in future.

 

Let me know if you have any details which contradict with what i have received from the customer care
