Oh, am I doing right?

I have WebUIload installed on my machine. I am doing load testing on several websites e.g. Gmail, Yahoo, etc. The problem is when I run my created test every time it fails. I have created and run a scenario for 1 Vuser for gmail. It always fails and several errors come off. I generated the load test per the guidlines provided in the video tutorials.
I would like to know about a few things:
1. Do I need to install the tool on a virtual machine?
2. I don't think Gmail is a sluggish application. I performed the test and it failed just for one Vuser. How can I trust the result showing for gmail are true, because I can see several warnings and errors for one Vuser? I don't know if any additional environment settings are required in order to get the results to pass.
3. Do I need to buy Webload UI Pro to perform the load test?
Can anyone help me with this?
