Automated Build Studio on Server 2016

Has anyone successfully installed ABS 6.60 on Windows Server 2016?

When I try, ABS complains that .NET framework 2.0 is not installed.  I have installed the .NET 3.5 feature (which includes .NET 2.0) from the server manager under "roles and features," but ABS still says .NET 2.0 is not installed.

 

I tried installing the .NET framework 2.0 separately, but the installer does nothing (won't even run).

 

Any other suggestions?

    I was able to work around the problem and install ABS 6.6 on Windows Server 2016 by opening the self-extracting archive (AutomatedBuildStudio660.exe) with 7-zip, then extracting and running the MSI file (SmartBear Automated Build Studio.msi) by hand.

    Hi Dennis,

     

     

    I believe that ABS doesn't support this OS.

    The tool has been discontinued several years ago.
