Error: Could not authenticate using the username and password provided.

Hi, 

Our clients including myself (admin) cannot connect to CC via web browser this morning. Attempting to login regardless of account throws this message: 

Error: Could not authenticate using the username and password provided.

 

I am unsure why. I am not familiar with the CC product at all. CC user web login has worked for years on end without issue. I have tried restarting the CC server service - It is version 5.0.5023. The physical server communicates with correct DC and AD. It is LDAP integrated.

Please help. I can provide other necessary information to fix this.

  • Never mind. Issue resolved.. a physical DC we moved off site .. we moved it back. CC tried to authenticate against the one we moved, and failed .. so much for redundant domain controllers. Need to figure out why that happens.
