Defect creation and deletion permissions

[ I posted this before to the wrong forum, so I'm reposting here. ]



When I create a defect in a review, I've noticed that any other reviewer seems to be able to mark the defect as complete or even delete the defect.



Is there a way to control permissions so that only the creator of the defect (or presumably the administrator) is allowed to modify the defect state ?

    There is a way to control those permissions.

    In the Administrator window/General Settings, there is a field called 'Restrict Access to Fix Defect'

    If set to Yes, only the creator of the defect and administrators will be able to mark a defect fixed. Otherwise, all roles that are allowed to mark a defect fixed will have such a privilege.

    Can you tell me if this is a global setting, or whether it can be set account by account ?

    This is a global setting, it is not possible to set this user by user.
