Can CC Tray Notifier be closed nicely from command line ?

Hi,

Currently the  CC Tray Notifier can be closed from the "Exit" tray icon menu option .

The question is: can the CC Tray Notifier be closed nicely by using a command line too ?

I would like to close "C:\Program Files (x86)\Collaborator Client\ccollabtray.exe"

nicely, not kill the process.

Then, after closing it, I would like to change the  "C:\Users\Alex\.smartbear\com.smartbear.ccollab.client.txt"

because not all preferences are available in the "ccollab set" syntax.

Please see my other question as well: https://community.smartbear.com/t5/Collaborator/How-to-use-quot-ccollab-set-quot-command-line-to-configure/m-p/164788#M2154

  • Hi,

I couldn't find any sophisticated ShutdownHooks, so I think it should be safe to terminate the process.

  • Hi,

Sorry, I don't see any way to do that. Does killing the process cause any issues?

Killing the CC Tray Notifier process might not be a problem if the code behind closing it nicely doesn't do much useful.
