Cannot profile Service on WindowsXP

I am trying to do allocation profiling on a service written in Delphi 7. When trying to run the service through the AQTime inteface (by pressing play) I get the error message:

"You need to run AQtime.exe with administrator privileges to perform this operation."

I am doing this on WindowsXP machine (SP3)  not connected to any domains. I log on using the builtin Administrator account. I am using a trial licens of AQTime Pro v 8.41.1556.7

As far as I know there is no way of running processes as administrator explicitly on WindowsXP.

So the question is, a I doing something wrong or doesn't AQTime support profiling of services on windows XP?

    Hi Fubalu,

Your account should be located in the Administrator group so that AQtime could start services to profile them.

As an alternative, you can start your service outside AQtime and the use the Attach to Process feature to attach to the service and profile it.

No, it did not help. It seems like you didn't read my question properly.

I log on using the builtin Administrator account.

        Hi Fubalu,

Does the profiling work if you attach to the service as I listed earlier?
