I found a workaround by changing the default view from "Form" to "Outline". Do this by clicking Preferences (top ribbon, far right), then select Ready! API from list (near the bottom), and change "Default SOAP request editor" to "Outline". My default was "Form" before when it didn't work. Changed it to "Outline" and it now works as expected.
Still, I would like the default view to be "Form" - any solutions?
