SSL Exception Ready! API 1.4.0

I am getting an error when making a SOAP service call 

Wed Feb 17 12:58:46 CST 2016:ERROR:javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Received fatal alert: close_notify

I run the same request in SOAPUI Pro v5.0.0 and it works! 

Why is Ready! API not completing the SSL handshake?
