[SOLVED]Composite Project with Source Control - Requirements mapping

Hello,
I notice that in a composite project each test suite is mapped to seperate folder. This behavior allows us/QA Engineer to check out a testsuite  in  source control so that other donot overwrite something that is being worked on.

I noticed that requirements are located in the project folder under settings.xml. However if only settings.xml is checked out and a new requirement is created in soapUI and the project is saved, the settings.xml file does not get updated. However if i checkout out the entire project and then add a requirement, I can see the new requirement in settings.xml.

Is there any other dependent file that needs to be checked out ?

Thanks

Ali

    Hi Ole,
Seems like the dependency is on the settings.xml file in the 'reports' folder. If this file is checkout, I see no problems.
Is this is bug or by design?

    Thanks

    Hello,

I checked it should be saved and you should get a message: INFO  [SplitProject] Saving project settings : when saving a project, or if it can not be saved an error message.

    Does it helps,
