How to set Connection Timeout in SoapUI?

Hi,

does someone knows if it is possible to set a Connection Timeout in SoapUI?

I've added the Socket Timeout in the SoapUI Preferences --> Http Settings, but if i launch a request towards an unreachable end point, neither the socket timeout nor the TestCase timeout are respected.

I continue to get the following exception: org.apache.http.conn.HttpHostConnectException.

I need to set a Connection Timeout to 10 seconds.

the link you posted refers to the Socket Timeout and i've already set it, but what i would like to know is:

is it possible to set a user defined CONNECTION TIMEOUT?

Thanks, but it doesn't work.

If the server that i try to contact isn't available, that timeout isn't considered.
