Hellotest,
I just realised....from the title of your post...youre talking about linking tests already created in VSTS to ReadyAPI!/SoapUI arent you? Do you actually have API tests created in VSTS already?
VSTS is MS right so youd need to write your tests using something like C# (.net runtime), not Java and ReadyAPI! uses Java runtime.
I didnt think VSTS supports Java but i just did a bit of reading an apparently it does, although no doubt your have to jump through some hoops to get it to work.

I would like to explain the scenario clearly . In VSTS , we can create manual test cases.
Once the same test case scenario is automated in SOAP UI Pro I would like to make or update manual test case in VSTS as automated.
Today we can do that in Visual Studio with webtest. In VSTS there is field Automated Status .
From VS studio under Test explorer we can map both webtest and test case# , which turns that field value as Automated in VSTS.
I had checked under Requirement under SOAP UI, looks like only using Excel sheet but just wondering we can
map directly in VSTS.
This is needed as we have some metrics down the line .
