Have you heard of a concept like doubleklick... add assertion is buggy and pretty useless atm

So i do (almost) like every change you do to the UI. Most are sane changes and its just the adjustment period but the 'Add assertion' is just one step to many. What was wrong with the old way. Now i have to click, scroll, mark and press add to add one assertion. I mean I can't even use <enter> after i selected an assert from the list.

I mean have you heard about right click to select, double click, tab navigation or even quick commands. I dont want a you have to move the mouse all over the screen ONLY interface just to be able to add an assert

Best Regards

  • Sorry to hear you don't like the updates we made to Add Assertion, our goal was to reduce the complexity of navigation.

We do agree that there should be a quick way to add the assertion once you have selected and will look in to implementing a fix.

    Take care,

    The UX team

It may not have been one of my best days and I do like most of the stuff you do but sometimes regular old mouse actions is a forgotten technology and UX/UI people can only think "mobile interface" solutions these days (I do generalize). Anyway i'm looking forward for a release where double-click and enter works in dialogs like add assertion
