Error while connecting to oracle Database with password containing "@"

Hi,

I have an issue while connecting to oracle database with thin client, since my password contains "@" symbol it throws an error "I/O Error".

Attached is the connection string.

SoapUI Pro Version : 5.1.2.

Re: Error while connecting to oracle Database with password containing "@"

You should be able to connect like below

jdbc:oracle:thin:scott/tiger@localhost:1521:orcl

For more details, see documention

@nmrao

Kindly don't give me any googled solution.

I have tried the same connection string with groovy, it works.

but while using SoqpUI interface for connection it fails.

I do understand your pain. By no chance others know what you have tried. There is no problem trying googled solution when I have no solution in hand. So, be patient.

Which version of ready api are you using?

Edit:

Just noticed that you are using SoapUI Pro which I do not have.

Below is the screen shot of ReadyAPI where you can provide details easily.

@nmrao

Thank you for the reply!!!

I didn't tried the connection in ReadyAPI as customer do not have it installed on the machine.

so groovy is the only choice for me.

I will try this in my system and let you if the same issue persists.
