Data source does not work when I import the project

Hi,

 

I am using ReadyAPI 1.6.0. I have created a data driven test and imported data using .xls.

I observed when i stopped and start the ReadyAPI and import/select  the project and run the test execution, data source does not pick up .xls.

 

Is there any way to save the datasource? If it is for one or two tests then I can manually import datasource each time i import a project but what if i have many tests like this?

 

I am sure there is a way but i am new to this. please sugges?

    DataSources should be saved when you save the project.

     


    Could you possibly attach a screenshot of your configuration?

      Hi,

       

      The configuration is simple. In the .xls file i have 5 numbers and in the data source i am using the path to that .xls file.

        Are you saving your project before exiting the tool?
