401- unauthorized message for a service

I am unable to access my webservice connecting to the mainframe.  I have added user id and password to the Request Properties, and updated the Auth tab with Basic Authentication. I can get to the webservice through IE using the endpoint.  So I know I have the proper access to the mainframe.  I am a new user to Ready API.  Did the parameters change between SOAP UI Pro and Ready API?

    Make sure you've selected the "authenticate preemptively" mode in the Auth tab or in Global preferences
