# how to open .mht file in chrome browser

Have a look at the Chrome Web Store, to see if there’s an extension you can install to load mht ([MHTML](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MHTML)) files.

I have Checked in webStore and I have added following extensions IE Tab,Save as MHT,Save as MHTML. I have tried three but i didnt open the log file. I have followed following link

The solution shown in Stack Overflow was from 8 years ago. If it doesn’t work, then Chrome does not support it.

There are other options for opening your log files. See the link below for details. Note that this documentation even states that Chrome and Firefox aren’t going to work.
