how to use an empty cel in an excelfile by data driven tests

I use a datadriven testloop with an excelfile.

An of the cels is blank. Testcomplete gives an error : Parameter type mismatch



This must be a bug, because it's very common that not all fields in a screen must have a value.

So what must i put in the excel cell to make Testcomplete understand that the field must be left blank?

    With all due respect, Allen, that is the lamest reply you could possibly make. Even QTP doesn't generate an error when populating data from a blank field in a worksheet, and it doesn't require jumping through hoops like writing a custom function or loading up the data sheet with garbage.



    Blaming a bug in TestComplete on Microsoft is just plain lazy. I can't believe this hasn't been fixed yet!
