Append/Replace Record Script Options?

There used to be options when right-clicking on a script function to either append to or replace the current script. But I don't see those anymore. Am I missing a setting somewhere, or were they removed in the most recent update (15.75)?

  • Update: SmartBear has confirmed that this is a bug in v15.75. The only recourse is to roll back to v15.74.

      Ah, good to know!

I'll go ahead and notify support about this.

Agreed. I'll elevate it to support, but I hope to see someone on version 15.75 corroborate that these options are missing, before I do.

Thanks for the input! I couldn't remember exactly what was missing, so this thread has helped a lot.

  • I think the Append and Replace options were right below "Run This Routine"...?

I do scripting myself and there is no built-in context menu option, that directly allows you to append or replace the contents of the current script with another function or script via the GUI.

      These are the standard options

As I said, I haven't updated.  I am on version 15.74.33.7.  This is missing in 15.75 for you? I can't update to test until approved in our organization.  Can some one else confirm?

P.S.  I never use these options.  This is pretty nice.  I hope 15.75 doesn't break it or support fixes it.

    Hi KRogersX,

I am on version 15.74.33.7 but I don't see what you are referring to.  Are you using a keyword test right clicking a 'Run Script Routine' step, or in a script file clicking a function?  I don't remember ever seeing this.  However I am always finding things I didn't know about.  😉
