Is it possible to test editing a pdf form in a browser?

I am trying to create a test that enters text into boxes on a pdf form that has been opened in Microsoft Edge but when I run the keyword test all that happens is the test scrolls to the last page of the pdf, it does not enter any text.  

When I apply Object Spy to the pdf in the browser it is only able to recognize the whole webpage, it cannot recognize individual objects on the pdf form.  

Is it possible for TestComplete to enter text into a pdf form that has been opened in a browser?
