Additional Loss of data/changes warnings
I have just spent the last 20 minutes writing test steps and expected results for a test case. I went to save said test case when I accidentally clicked 'Cancel' rather than 'Save' (Rookie mistake, I know) thus causing all my work to be wiped. Could we get a confirmation message when clicking this button, especially after creating/editing steps. I've notice any attempt to navigate to another tab or return to previous when editing steps triggers a save warning. Navigation by the folder tree does not cause the message to appear but ideally no one would accidentally click there. I'm using the SAAS version by the way. Hi all, Sorry for the late reply, I believe the patch has been deployed to fix this issue. As BillDuff mentioned there are still performance issues as in length of time to load is proportional to the amount of test cases in a set.4.9KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Has anyone else experienced problems loading up test sets with the new TestRunner?
I have found that test sets with less than 85 test will display without error however the higher the amount the longer you need to wait before they show. Hopefully a patch is the reason i'm seeing this error now:smileyhappy:3.9KViews0likes1CommentHas anyone else experienced problems loading up test sets with the new TestRunner?
Has anyone else experienced a problem running a test set since the update? I am using a SAAS version of QAcomplete and since the update I am now unable to run one of my test sets. The set consists of 79 tests. I have tried to continue a paused run of this set as well as a new instance of the test set, both will open the new runner however nothing appears except the timer. After a couple of minutes I receive an Ajax error (see screenshot). I have tried this in both Chrome and Firefox but neither seem to work. If anyone has any solutions on how this can be resolved it will be greatly appreciated as I am 95% through regression testing.Solved4.6KViews0likes15CommentsThe ability to apply Token files to a Test before running a Test set.
I have a product that requires testing for multiple clients and will use tokenized tests to pass different data (usernames, field names etc). Rather than creating multiple tests that contain the same steps but different token files(1 token file per client) it would bemore efficient for me to have the single test set and select which token file to use. For example, a test that requires all fields on a form to be completed.Client A could have fields 1, 2 and 3 whereas Client B could have fields A, B and C. Each client would have different validation required and/or different character limits. Currently to use the same test I would need to edit the token file and re-upload or make a copy of the test (Which would make it harder keep updated with all the different copies if something changes). I was thinking this process could work in a similar way to attaching configurations/releases to a Test Set. The token files will be attached to thetest set and will be chosen upon running said test set. If anyone has any methods or work arounds for me, it would be great to hear them. Thanks.2.3KViews2likes1Comment
