Re: Image response validation
Hi Alex, Thanks for your response, Iwould be checking for 'Content-Type' and 'Content-Length' propertyto check for valid image response. However the image responses do not have any of those tabs like 'data selectors' or 'Validation' (these tabs are availabe in HTML/ASPX responses). Please see below screenshot. How are we supposed to validate the response in this case? Thanks.1.8KViews0likes1CommentTime taken in between requests
Hi, I have a scenario where I need tofind out time take in between requests (to calculate transaction time). Can we calculate time takebetween 2 requests (for instance we clicked on alink and the time taken for animage to be served on page). Here the 1st request would be clicking operation and next request would be the image request/response. The time taken in between these 2 requestsneeds to be captured. Hi Guys, We can validate HTML text content using LoadComplete which is received as part of thepage response. Can we validate images which are received as part of the responses from server? In our application on click of certain buttons, the server serves images on the screen asa response. These responses are of type image/jpeg. Can we validate these image orresponse type that is received? Since LoadComplete justchecks the server response codes, I have noticed that these steps are usually passed and we need tovalidate whether the server actually sent animage or acorrect image. Please help. Thanks.1.9KViews0likes4Comments- 2.2KViews0likes0Comments
Script execution time
Hi Guys, I am new to loadComplete and I am learning the tool and evaluating the different features. While I recorded a script, itcaptured the various requests and responses. In the documentation, it is mentioned that the script execution turnaround time would be relatively less as compared tothe recording time (since actual browser is not opened). However at my end it is taking relatively the same amount of time for the script to execute. Is it because the script has Think time incorporated? I removed the think time and saw slightimprovement in script execution. What should be the % difference in browser v/s LoadComplete execution time? Please advice. Hi Guys, I checked the documentation and it shows how to insert variables in a URL in Loadcomplete. However the tutorial shows an example like this: http://abc.com/@Variable1 where@Variable1 value is loaded from a variable. If I want toput the domain name as a variable, preferably at recording time, is that possible?Consider the above URL example - I want to put a variable for abc.com, as the domain might change as the environment changes. So is there a provision in LoadComplete to provide such a URL at record time, as it is not feasible to change the domain variable name at all instances of requests and responses after the script is recorded. Or let me know if there is a easy way to change that post the script is recorded. Thanks.Solved2.3KViews0likes2Comments
