validating that 2 json nodes are equal
Hi, we have the need to validate that 2 json nodes containing a batchid are equal. see attachment this would seem to be very simple but yet we cannot get this to work properly. i have tried this in an assertion and in a groovy script and both produce errors def a = ($.points[0].batchId) def b = ($.points[1].batchId) assert a==b i have tried a couple of other types of assertions to validate they are equal, with no luck. isn't there an easy way to validate that 2 things are equal? thanks LeeSolved9 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.8KViews0likes2Comments- 9 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.9KViews0likes0Comments
Re: Creating a call to send compressed data?
Hi, thanks for the input! it's not quite what i was looking for but it gives me another idea. we aren't really sending attachments, we are sending compressed data but it might not always be compressed. Ready!API has a checkbox for compressed data in the settings but we need it to be more dynamic. One of our developers has a question out for that so we'll see what the answer is on that. thanks Lee9 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.9KViews0likes2CommentsCreating a call to send compressed data?
Hi, my team would like to use Ready!API to create a call to send compressed data(gzip) and post it to make sure this works correctly for our rest service. i can get some more info if needed as i'm sure this is a bit vague. i was provide this link for some information. https://github.com/azzlack/Microsoft.AspNet.WebApi.MessageHandlers.Compression is this something the tool can do? thanks Lee9 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions2KViews0likes4CommentsRe: assertion for raw response 200 OK
Hi , yes!, thank you for both the answers!, i was having trouble with the valid http codes assertion, it was grayed out for some reason when i was looking at it previously. now it is there. i also want to use the script assertion method as well. thanks for 2 ways to accomplish this. I am trying to create an assertion for the raw response to verify the 200 OK HTTP/1.1 200 OK it would seem simple enough but i can't get any kind of contains assertion to pass. can't use the nodes because that doesn't show up when creating an assertion. how do i create an assertion for contains 200 OK in the raw response tab which passes? thanks LeeSolved9 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions5KViews0likes4Comments
