Error getting response; org.apache.http.conn.HttpHostConnectException:

I am just using sample webservices from internet and sending requests from my office machine and not getting the UknownHostException.

The same service gives me nice response when i request it from my home. 

I guess, proxyserver at office might be blocking the response. Can anybody help me how to resolve this issue?

I tried without proxyserver as well but the same result.
