Install Error connecting TestComplete to QAComplete via Bridge

Hi all,



I tried to connect QAComplete (trial) to TestComplete (trial) today as part of my evaluation prior to recommending we purchase the software.



Unfortunately I got an error and I don't know why. Has anyone else run into this problem?



I have my project suite saved on my local hard drive (C:) so it seems like I shouldn't need the Remote Data Source bridge, just the initial one (I installed the remote just in case). I have a QAComplete account which I can access, but when I click the Load Projects button on the bridge it says I'm not authorized. Any ideas?

    From the screen shot you provided, it looks you need to define QAComplete's web service address. Please put "http://ws.softwareplanner.com/psWS.asmx" and cllick load projects, and let me know what you get.

    Yesterday your Tech Support team asked me to download the Bridge again and try to connect again.



    I've done so but now just get a different error message at the same step. I've attached the screenshot. 



    I opened a support ticket with them back on 8/21 and they were able to reproduce the problem internally. The ticket number is: 801290.
