[LoadUIWeb] Response parameter (save variable to) set but not recognized by response validation

hello,

I am using LoadWebUI 2.99.4592.23 and am trying to validate the response that comes back.  The response content is text/xml;charset=utf-8.

I have followed the user documentation and set the save to variable column in the parameters tab of the response (which is xml structure).

I then go to the validation tab of the same response and add a new item.  My new variable appears which I select. I then do a validation of that variable equal to the expected text that I enter in the value column.  

When I verify the scenario I get an error indicating that the variable I set in the parameters tab is not initialized with any value.

Any assistance to get the validation working would be much appreciated.
